We decided to spend time together before embarking on our trip to Manhattan. It was a cozy evening with all the chills of notorious Februarian snowfall. The snow couldn’t stop our rose red cheeks from roaring with mutual laughter derived from our dorky sense of humor. Success was found with the crimson tide of endless fun that produced an inside joke for tomorrow’s journey. The fervor of excitement blanketed the air thicker than the falling snow. And we hoped for safe passage on uncertain strides on ice and snow. Woe to the road that laid ahead.
